Bailey’s 7th Birthday

My Bailey boy turned seven yesterday. I may or may not have shed a few tears leading up to this event. I wish he turned three instead, but he still runs around like a puppy so I’ll gladly take that.

Bailey has been my constant companion for nearly seven years now. He is the best little pup a girl could ask for…even though he doesn’t cuddle nearly as much as I would like. Such an independent fellow! He also has the funniest personality and cracks me up on a daily basis. His facial expressions are uncannily human-like and make me laugh out loud. Then I take pictures and text them to people so they can laugh out loud, too. Bailey spreads joy everywhere, I tell you.

I always tell Bailey he’s my favorite. My favorite what, you ask? He’s my favorite everything. Happy Birthday, Bailey Bear. Momma loves you.

This is Bailey’s birthday hat. He hates it. I’ve saved it since his first birthday and try to take a picture of him wearing it every year. It never works out because he gives me his most pitiful face and the pictures never turn out well.

Every Saturday I take Bailey to visit his grandparents. He loves it. What a perfect way to spend his birthday.

Bailey took a trip to the groomer in preparation for his special day.

He looks so different! It usually takes about a week or so for his hair to grow a little and get more Bailey-like.
