Wow, we’re already almost two months into the new year! Which means approximately 3 1/2 left until the end of the school year! Yeeee! But I have such wonderful students this term that I’ll be sad to see them go. I always tell my good kids that I’ll flunk them so I can teach them again next year. Hehe. 😉
This week’s macro shot was taken at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco shortly before Bailey went skinny dipping in the nasty pond. What a rascal!
Lovely photo. I am a big fan of macro.
Thanks, Victor! One of my goals this year is to improve my macro photography!
I wrote up my methodology on my wordpress blog. Fun but technical…
I am going to check it out!
Beautiful Detail!
Thanks, Nick! I was surprised the shot turned out since the flower was wilted and far past its prime. 🙂
It looks awesome. I love your B&W photos.;)
Yes, I know they’re your favorite. 🙂
Great click Patty!
Thanks, Sonal!
Photos in black and white always have a different character, this one is superb Patty.
Yes, black and white photos have so much character. This shot in color was blah and boring, so I was quite surprised when I tried a black and white conversion. One of the more striking contrasts I’ve seen in my work.
beautiful! very pretty!
As pretty as a wet Bailey? 😉
I didn’t even realise the flower had wilted, beautiful photo!
Thank you! Yes, the flower was rather underwhelming!
What a gorgeous blog you have here, so glad to have discovered it!
Hi Laila! Thanks so much for the nice compliment! It makes me smile wide. 🙂
