Oh Patty – I find myself so looking forward to your Macro Monday posts. This one is spectacular – I think I say that every week but I just love the colour and the framing/composition of the gerber…I am sure that if I stare hard enough I can see you reflected in those diamond like droplets of water….
Thank you, Selma! I am having a lot of fun with this macro project. My bf gifted me this amazing lens last year, but I never found myself using it much. I figured that committing myself to a weekly project would do the trick, and it surely did! It makes me happy that you’re enjoying my photos. *hugs*
Patty, I came back to make sure my follow remained so that you are in my reader. I don’t know why but sometimes my follows get unfollowed. You are in my reader and I really look forward to your work. You are really good!!! xx Amy
That seems to happen a lot to everyone, Amy! I get paranoid and have to double check, too. Sometimes I’m still following, but the posts don’t show up in my reader. So weird!
Patty, you too? Oh me too! I seem to have to chase blogs to make sure I am still clicked to follow. WP strikes again. Or something. But anyway, I am so glad I am still following you and you hopefully will be in my reader. Crossing fingers. xx
Silly WP! You’d think they’d fix this by now! But yes, I’m very glad we’re following each other! 🙂
Me too. (((HUGS))) xx
Look at those droplets . . . like little peas in a pod! Beautiful shot, thank you !
Hah I saw colours but my eyesight is so bad and I smashed my microscope lol
Oh no, Justine! Are you okay?!?
Sighs I’m ok thank you, the oven needed rather a lot of cleaning lol…was going to leave that for shrek but thought that too mean and even the dogs didn’t take a sniff at the cake but the bin ate it up nicely!! Your so sweet thank you for asking xx
You’re always so funny, Justine. Your writing cracks me up!
Thanks, Stacey. Sometimes it’s hard to get interesting shots. Everything has been captured 100x over and a girl runs out of creative juices when she’s tired from teaching! 😉
Thanks, Bonnie! I nearly took out my shoulder trying to get this shot. I forgot there was a square lamp post right above me and rammed myself right into it! I was bruised for a week!
Well, I enlarged it to look for your reflection in the droplets, but couldn’t make you out. 🙂 Stunning, Patty. You see beauty in things we normally just walk past. Love it.

Beautiful! In Portland?
Nope, at my parents’ house. Right by the driveway.
I have to say that I am loving your macro mondays, they’re always so beautiful! 😀
That makes me so happy, Nell! I’m glad I’m not the only one looking at them. Heheh! 😉
This is so beautiful. The Gerbera daisy has so much character and emotion, all of which you captured here.
Thanks, Stacey. Sometimes it’s hard to get interesting shots. Everything has been captured 100x over and a girl runs out of creative juices when she’s tired from teaching! 😉
What a stunning shot, Patty! Little gem-drops like a shiny crown around the gerbera…
