Another beautiful picture. I wish you lived here to take a picture of my Botanical Garden’s agave plant that is ready to bloom. It is 80 years old, blooms then dies (: They had to remove some glass from the top of the Conservatory to give it more room to grow. It is taking its sweet time to bloom, but I guess if I was going to die once I bloomed I would not be in a hurry either π By the way, I will not even guess what this is a picture of!
Oh wow! That is so neat, Judi. I wish I could take pictures of that plant! But how sad that it dies after blooming. π¦ And this picture is just another plant from the SF gardens. I didn’t mean for everyone to try guessing. Hehehe.
Another awesome photo, Patty! You have such talent with capturing the details of things that most of us don’t even notice! I think we all agree- your viewers look at things differently now from following this series!
Haha, it’s so funny that everyone is trying to guess what this is! This was just another random plant. I wasn’t trying to be tricky this time around. π
I so look forward to these Macro Monday posts Patty! I hope this isn’t only the half-way point! I have no idea what it is, but you’ve definitely made it beautiful. π
Gorgeous! This picture reminded me of the round brushes my mom used to use that I would play with while ‘styling’ her hair as a kid, and Christmas. So many warm fuzzy memories from a photo of a mystery plant. Love!!
Intriguing! What is this Patty?
Just another plant from SF, Sonal! π
I don’t know what is this, but it’s beautiful! π
I don’t know either, Jhuls. It was a pretty plant that I passed by and decided I need to stop and take its picture. π
Is that corn?
Not corn, just another plant from the SF gardens! π
It looks like a brush of some sort, wow it’s beautiful. The detail is incredible but not enough to give away what it is. Beautiful!!
So funny, Suzanne. This is just another plant. I didn’t have time to take a “Guess What This Is” macro this week. So much pressure now! π

Lina, that is such a sweet thing to say! β€
Beautiful Patty, what I this? A flower of some sort?
Yes…of some sort…(I have no idea since I gave up on taking pictures of plant names. The wind was driving me crazy and all I got were blurry shots!!!)
I LOVE this—- it’s a hard one!!! Why do I keep wanting to say pine cone? Pine cones don’t look like that…. (do they?) π

Just a fun plant! π
π
Is this another mystery? It’s a mascara brush! Right? Right? You know, a new one, before it gets all gunky. That, or an alien corncob. π
Haha, you crack me up, Angie! This is just another fun plant. No mysteries this week! π
Have you looked at the post and scrolled down to view the photo? It’s so weird the way it twists! Really mesmerising effect.
Yes! It made my eyes sort of bug out! π
Gorgeous photo! Btw, are you enjoying Instagram?
Thanks, Stephanie! And yes, I am! It’s so much fun!
