  1. Another beautiful picture. I wish you lived here to take a picture of my Botanical Garden’s agave plant that is ready to bloom. It is 80 years old, blooms then dies (: They had to remove some glass from the top of the Conservatory to give it more room to grow. It is taking its sweet time to bloom, but I guess if I was going to die once I bloomed I would not be in a hurry either πŸ™‚ By the way, I will not even guess what this is a picture of!

    • Oh wow! That is so neat, Judi. I wish I could take pictures of that plant! But how sad that it dies after blooming. 😦 And this picture is just another plant from the SF gardens. I didn’t mean for everyone to try guessing. Hehehe.

  2. Another awesome photo, Patty! You have such talent with capturing the details of things that most of us don’t even notice! I think we all agree- your viewers look at things differently now from following this series!

  3. I LOVE this—- it’s a hard one!!! Why do I keep wanting to say pine cone? Pine cones don’t look like that…. (do they?) πŸ™‚

    • Haha, it’s so funny that everyone is trying to guess what this is! This was just another random plant. I wasn’t trying to be tricky this time around. πŸ˜€

  4. I so look forward to these Macro Monday posts Patty! I hope this isn’t only the half-way point! I have no idea what it is, but you’ve definitely made it beautiful. πŸ™‚

  5. Gorgeous! This picture reminded me of the round brushes my mom used to use that I would play with while ‘styling’ her hair as a kid, and Christmas. So many warm fuzzy memories from a photo of a mystery plant. Love!!

Please tell me what you think!
