I had a lot of fun shooting and editing photos for this month’s post. There are more photos than usual since I had such interesting subjects and locations. I hope you enjoy!
Photo #1
Title: Carmel Colors
The BF and I took a long overdue weekend trip to Pacific Grove at the beginning of March. It was wonderful! Here are some purple daisies we found along the streets of Carmel.
Photo #2
Title: Spring Yellow
Another Carmel floral shot. The streets are lined with pretty flower boxes.
Photo #3
Title: Free
Seagulls flying into the sunset above Pacific Grove Beach.
Photo #4:
Title: Crash
I spent almost two hours taking photos on this beach. I wish two hours at work passed by this quickly. 😉
Photo #5
Title: Mist
A 20-second exposure. Long exposure photography is too much fun. You should click on the image to see the full-sized photo. 🙂
Photo #6
Title: Simplicity
I have been going to the same hair stylist since my freshman year of college. Tenaya is an amazing person and was kind enough to let me take pictures of the newly planted flowers in her backyard. I decided to do a short black and white series for this set of images.
Photo #7
Title: White
My vision for this set was to keep things simple and clean.
Photo #8
Title: Fern
I made sure to add this image since Tenaya mentioned how much she likes her hanging fern plant. 🙂
Photo #9
Title: Bongo
This little lady is more difficult to photograph than Bailey. Now that’s saying a lot! She is a sweetie pie and as tiny as can be. ❤
Your photos are amazing! Great post!
Hi Jamie! Thanks so much! 😄
Amazing photo’s each one, I honestly don’t know how you do it, I admire your skill so much. That little doggie is too cute, is she yours?
Thanks, Suzanne. The doggie is not mine, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t want to take her home with me! 😜
That fern stole my heart Patty.
I might bring my March collection little late and do sorry that I totally skipped the feb! Might combine both 😊.
Loved all your pictures in this month.
Love
Combine away, Sonal! It’ll be double the fun! 😍
Oh my goodness, Patty. THESE ARE BREATHTAKING!!! I actually got heart flutters looking at these photos! WOW ❤
Lina, you make me smile!! 😍
Lovely collection of photos, Patty! I’m partial to the purple daisies – gorgeous!!
Thanks, Nancy! The daisies were so pretty I just had to stop and take a picture. 😄
This is amazing Patty! Your photos are so beautiful! I love all of them! What do you use for editing?
Thanks, Olga! I do my post processing in Adobe Lightroom!
Love them all especially the flowers.
I knew you’d like the B&W ones. 😊
Beautiful photos, Patty!
Thanks, Nancy! 😊
As usual, Beautiful photos Patty! 🙂 The fern was the best of the lot and the misty beach is such a beauty! Inspiring I must say!
Hi Lakshmi! You’re far too kind. Thanks for the sweet comment! 😍
Great work! I love numbers 4, 5 and 6. So glad you told me to click on number 5 to see the full sized image – it really is quite captivating!
Thanks, Chanelle! I’m glad you clicked on the larger version. 😀
Love your March pics…you did it and starting shooting again!! 🙂
Slowly getting back into my groove! I just have to make Greg take me on a weekend trip every month so I can get good shots. 😉
What a beautiful set of images and such a fun month! I totally get it about being able to stay at the beach for hours (of course my family would not be very happy with me after that 😉 — you had waves, rocks, sun, and clouds — who could blame you!? Love the macros, too — your macros are always so pretty with that nice buttery bokeh 🙂
Hi Neely! Yes, I was most excited about the clouds! I need another weekend getaway! 😄
Yes — the clouds! I’m not sure how it is in Sacramento, but we hardly get any here!
It’s the same, Neely! 😑
Beautiful, Bo! I think I saw Frodo frolicking on the beach!
Hahah, no that was you on your run! 😂
lovely photos. My favourite is the fern.
Yes, it’s one of my favorites as well! 😄
So many stunning photos!! Beautiful work 🙂
Thanks, Elaine!
Lovely collection of photos, especially the coastal landscapes. I would love to see you here more often, and miss your food posts.
Hi Ron! How have you been? Hopefully I can get a food post up for you soon. I’ve let work get in the way of all my blogging fun. 😀
Nice hearing from you, Patty. I hope you have a chance to scroll down the page and see what I have been doing for the last few months.
Stunning Patty! WooHoo
Thanks, Cheryl!
Just beautiful pictures Patty – some of them I feel I can reach out and touch them. You capture the images so well!
Thanks, Judi! 😀
Absolutely stunning 🙂 You should publish a book with all your pictures, trust me Patty 🙂
Hmmm…that’s a nice idea. But I have a habit of not liking my photos six months later! 😛
OH
Gorgeous photography, Patty – so lovely to see your work again! Bongo is very cute!
Thanks, Selma! ❤
Oh my goodness. How gorgeous each photo is, Patty!! What an artist you a are, seriously. And Bongo is so adorable! Love how you captured all that detail around her nose and eyes…just awesome. 🙂
Hi Bonnie! How are you? Thanks so much! 😀
I’m doing a photo challenge for the first time although I’m just using my phone lol. Your shots are absolutely gorgeous as usual, Patty!
Photo challenges are SO much fun. The very first one I ever did was with my cell phone too! I’m looking forward to seeing your pics!
Wonderful, wonderful photos! Crash is amazing, like a painting…! I’d love to be able to see the world through my camera like you do… xxx
Thanks, Laura. You’re too sweet. ❤
Amazing photos, Patty! I love the one called mist and beach one. So beautiful!
Aww thanks so much! It’s great to hear from you again! 😄
Wow Patty! I am a huge fan of yours!! Your photos are inspirational! Hey, are you doing anything cool in the kitchen these days?
Well, today I made a quinoa spaghetti with mushroom and garlic tomato cream sauce. Both gluten and dairy free because I wanted to see how I could use vegan cream cheese in my cooking. It turned out well, but all I could muster up for a photo was a snapshot on my camera. Are you on Instagram? I posted the photo on there! 😄
Patty, the rocks in the sea (especially the 1st photo) look so “biblical”, so amazing! I love the one with the birds. Ok, I love all the photos! 🙂 xx
Thanks, my friend! You should come back to visit and we can go landscape shooting together!!
