2015 12-Month Photo Project || March

I had a lot of fun shooting and editing photos for this month’s post. There are more photos than usual since I had such interesting subjects and locations. I hope you enjoy!

Photo #1
Title: Carmel Colors

The BF and I took a long overdue weekend trip to Pacific Grove at the beginning of March. It was wonderful! Here are some purple daisies we found along the streets of Carmel.

Another Carmel floral shot. The streets are lined with pretty flower boxes.

Title: Crash

I spent almost two hours taking photos on this beach. I wish two hours at work passed by this quickly. 😉

Title: Mist

A 20-second exposure. Long exposure photography is too much fun. You should click on the image to see the full-sized photo. 🙂

Title: Simplicity

I have been going to the same hair stylist since my freshman year of college. Tenaya is an amazing person and was kind enough to let me take pictures of the newly planted flowers in her backyard. I decided to do a short black and white series for this set of images.

Title: White

My vision for this set was to keep things simple and clean.

Title: Fern

I made sure to add this image since Tenaya mentioned how much she likes her hanging fern plant. 🙂

Title: Bongo

This little lady is more difficult to photograph than Bailey. Now that’s saying a lot! She is a sweetie pie and as tiny as can be. ❤

  1. That fern stole my heart Patty.
I might bring my March collection little late and do sorry that I totally skipped the feb! Might combine both 😊.
Loved all your pictures in this month.
    Love

  2. What a beautiful set of images and such a fun month! I totally get it about being able to stay at the beach for hours (of course my family would not be very happy with me after that 😉 — you had waves, rocks, sun, and clouds — who could blame you!? Love the macros, too — your macros are always so pretty with that nice buttery bokeh 🙂

  3. Lovely collection of photos, especially the coastal landscapes. I would love to see you here more often, and miss your food posts.

      • Nice hearing from you, Patty. I hope you have a chance to scroll down the page and see what I have been doing for the last few months.

  4. Oh my goodness. How gorgeous each photo is, Patty!! What an artist you a are, seriously. And Bongo is so adorable! Love how you captured all that detail around her nose and eyes…just awesome. 🙂

  5. Wonderful, wonderful photos! Crash is amazing, like a painting…! I’d love to be able to see the world through my camera like you do… xxx

    • Well, today I made a quinoa spaghetti with mushroom and garlic tomato cream sauce. Both gluten and dairy free because I wanted to see how I could use vegan cream cheese in my cooking. It turned out well, but all I could muster up for a photo was a snapshot on my camera. Are you on Instagram? I posted the photo on there! 😄

  6. Patty, the rocks in the sea (especially the 1st photo) look so “biblical”, so amazing! I love the one with the birds. Ok, I love all the photos! 🙂 xx

Please tell me what you think!
