My mom commented recently that we’re already halfway through 2016.
What a funky year.
I think my brain is stuck back in winter somewhere. Plenty has happened since then and my poor head feels like mashed potatoes after trying to process it all. But mashed potatoes is not a bad thing, as long as you have a lot of gravy to go with it. Hopefully the second half of 2016 will be smooth sailing. But who knows since the new school year will start in a month and a half and I’ve been having intense teaching nightmares non-stop since summer break began. The kind where it’s the first day of school and NO ONE will stop talking to listen to you. And you have to do the stupid backwards counting thing and still no one stops talking even when you get to 1. Then district folks come in to observe you and there are no kids in your class. So you start showing random student work in a desperate attempt to prove that you actually teach. Seriously, my poor brain. 😛
My photo collection this month is quite minimal. I was too busy having lunch and dinner. And lunch and dinner. And repeat. Very little time for shooting. But have no fear, I shall be over-posting next month. Well, I hope so anyway. I’m off to Iceland in less than two weeks. I am super excited! A friend of mine thinks my decision to go to Iceland was the catalyst for all this growth and change in my life. She’s right. So perhaps my 2016 didn’t start in January. It’ll start on July 14th. I’ll call this date the Patty New Year. Perhaps I should pack sparklers to celebrate while I’m there. 😀

Eat and eat more…Pray Eat Love 😘❤️
Eating is one of my favorite hobbies! 😉
Yes, we do eat with our eyes first – and yes I would like a couple of those cupcakes! Pretty little girl who doesn’t mind being photographed. By the way always gravy with mashed potatoes 🙂
I prefer to have mashed potatoes with my gravy. I love gravy. 😀
Gene always had to have gravy especially with mashed potatoes and he expected them to be homemade and not out of a can 🙂
Out of a can?! Goodness gracious no! I’m with Gene on that one. ❤
Funny – I use to keep a can or two of gravy to put on the dogs’ food some times if they weren’t eating. I once used a can for his potatoes and he was not happy 🙂
Oh, that is too funny! Poor Gene! 😛
Gorgeous shots!
Thank you! 🙂
