In celebration of the 2nd anniversary of my 29th birthday, the BF and I went to Cambria for the weekend. Luckily, the 2nd anniversary of my 29th birthday fell on Labor Day this year, so I had an extra day to let it all sink in. I’m still not sold on the idea, but I figure 32 is worse than 31 so I better suck it up and enjoy it while I can. 😉
Here are a few photos from our trip. We had a fabulous time as always.
Zebras! In San Simeon!Barbed wire. Spiky!Sneaky McSneakerson got several action shots of me. It’s actually quite fun to see pictures of myself with the camera.Clouds and a shed.We didn’t know that access to the Piedras Blancas Lighthouse was by scheduled tours only. So we went the back way! Trekked a mile and a half across the beach. Such determination.Birds flying over Moonstone Beach.Picnic lunch in Seaside on the way home.My last picture as a 30 year old. Sigh.
Lovely photos, as usual. Of course, I love the lighthouse.
Yes, always a lighthouse for you. 🙂
I really like the pictures especially the black and whites. Just lovely
Thanks, John! I like the black and whites, too. 🙂
Lovely shots of area and self….wonderful time.
nice shots!
What a way to tell your age and don’t worry, you look like 21.:) Great photos, I’m so proud to have a beautiful and talented daughter like you.
Stunning on clouds and a shed
Several great shots here,. My fave is clouds and a shed.
Thanks, Ron! The shed picture seems most popular!
It should be. I call that a reverse subject. The shed is small and the rest is expansive.
I wanted to capture the clouds that day. We don’t often get cloud coverage like that inland of the coast.
