A-Z Photo Project | G is for Gourmet

Can you believe I almost forgot about my A-Z Photo Project this week?? I pride myself on having never missed any days/weeks of the five year-long photo projects I’ve taken on over the last three years. This is what happens when spring break comes so late in the year! One more week and I’ll be a free woman. Well, free for a week, that is! 😛

So when I realized I had no idea what I was going to shoot for the letter “G”, I asked the boyfriend for suggestions. He came up with the following:  Google, goat, grass, gerrymandering, and Jerry Brown among others. He stopped helping after I pointed out that Jerry Brown, our governor, starts with a “J”, not a “G”. This coming from a university professor! He must be tired, too, even though he already had his spring break. Lucky duck. Anyway, I started pondering “gastronomy” since I always have food on the brain, he said “gourmet”, then I said “macarons”, and here we are, $15 worth of deliciousness later. And the most important part? I’m still on time! Wheee! (Can you tell I’m a teacher and hate late assignments?? 😉 )

**I normally only include one shot per letter of the alphabet, but I had fun with these so decided to include three!

  1. I have never seen macaroons with texture and embellishment like these! Beautiful looking and I’m sure delicious too! As usual, kudos on the amazing photos. Made me laugh the ocmment about the boyfriend . . . my husband’s expertise by training/career also doesn’t extend to some areas you would think it should!

  2. I’m not sure how I missed this post that you were telling me about today! These macarons are gorgeous! I am going to play along and was thinking of some H topics. I think I have it and will post sometime within the next few days!
